Shape and Light gives you a shape, some colorful lights, and a gravity ring or two in a deceptively simple interactive space where you can produce surprisingly rich patterns of motion and light. The shape can then perform a routine to music which brings it all to life...
Main features:
- Gravity rings govern the paths the shape and lights take through space. There is a fixed ring and a mobile ring. The mobile ring, whose motion is also governed by the fixed ring, provides a dynamically changing gravity to the shape and lights which mixes up their trajectories.
- Manipulate the shape, lights, and mobile gravity ring directly on the touch screen to change their motion.
- Control the "eye" which gives you your viewpoint. You can track and follow the shape as it moves through space, or just back up and take in a wider view. The view can also be locked on, and even "slaved", or motion-synced, to the shape and other objects.
- Have the shape leave behind trails of "smoke bubbles" that gradually disperse and fade away. Create an endless variety of lovely fleeting forms in space by setting the shape on different patterns of motion and spin, trailing its bubbles all the way. And it's all lit by the lights!
- Add a little dazzle to the scene by making the shape let out a burst of fireworks with full dynamic lighting.
- Start the shape performing an autonomous routine to music. Whatever trajectory through space you've set the shape on, it will bring it to life by spinning, trailing its bubbles, and bursting in fireworks, all to the rhythm of the active music track. Each of the seven diverse available tracks has its own custom routine. The variety of performances you can produce is limited only by your imagination and ingenuity in creating different trajectories for the shape and the lights.
- Change the shape to any of 4 polyhedron types directly via the User Interface. Change the colors of the lights the same way.
- Change the shape's decal, set the lights to strobe, change the gravity rings' strength, set the active music track, and much more, all with settings accessible via the Menu screen.
- There's no charge, no purchases to be made, it's all for free. The only price you pay is having a small, unobtrusive banner ad at the bottom of the Menu screen which stays completely out of your way.
